| Shanti and I took an approximately one week long trip to Paris, France during the first week of June 2005. Between the two of us we took over 750 photos. These are just a bare few to represent the places we visited (a mix of photos taken by Shanti and myself) . No photos will do justice for the beauty, charm and atmosphere of Paris. The city is absolutely beautiful, diverse, vibrant and alive (at all hours); our high expectations were well exceeded in every way. The people of Paris were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay great. So the myth of the 'unfriendly, arrogant Parisian' was totally dispelled for us. We did not encounter one rude french person. It was great to return to Europe (first time since I left). We also got to spend extra time in Montmartre which was one of the highlights for us in Paris. | ||
